Team
History
The Newton High School robotics program was brought to the school's attention by contacts at Kansas University in 2001. Soon after, a team was constructed from students who had submitted applications. These students and five mentors designed and built a robot that was used to compete in the FIRST regional in St. Louis, Missouri. Team Bios
Team 935 is relatively small compared to many other FIRST Teams. However, our team contains students with more personality and drive than someone might expect. We each have hobbies and goals. Every student decided to join RaileRobotics for a different reason. We come from different families and different values. These things that make us diverse are truly what make us great. Because we are diverse, we bring more ideas and point of views to the table. Our team recognizes the different abilities and talents of students and utilizes them, improving them for the benefit of both the student and the overall group. Read More...
