Week 6
So little time, yet we've come so far.

For anyone not knowing, the robot has been named "Collateral Damage". It's sort of how we feel this entire game might go. Regardless, we're actually somewhat optomistic of how that will turn out!

Woodie Flowers was completed today and the Chairman's is almost complete. We've decided who will work in the pit and who will be scouting (and cheering). Our human player is yet to be decided. Hopefully that will be decided by the end of today.

Anyway, tomorrow is ship day, everyone! We're pumped!

Good luck to all the teams and see you there!

By the by, here's CD!

We're Almost There, Everyone...
The robot has been running since Friday, the Animation team practically screamed their work's completion a few days ago (at which time Shawn told me he'd submitted the website and I screamed for an entirely different reason), so many essays are nearly ready to be submitted... It's so close!

One of our build season videos are on the website, under videos. More will be added soon!
The animation, likewise, will be added shortly! Check back in the next day or two!

Our travel plans for both Kansas City and Dallas are completely set up, as well!

For KC:
We will leave at around eight in the morning on February the 25th and currently plan to take a tour of the Harley Davidson Plant in N. Kansas City (FUN!). We have reservations at the Hampton Inn for our stay and will return late, LATE Saturday the 28th.

For Dallas:
We will leave around eight in the morning, March 11th, returning late on Saturday, March 14th. Our hotel reservations are at the Radisson Hotel Central Dallas.

For more information, contact us!

This seems like it's coming and going so fast. Is build season really nearly over?! I hope everything is going so (somewhat) smoothly for other teams!

Improvised News!
The animation was just finished today! Oh my! As a result, I'm allowed to put the intro slide on the webpage as a teaser!

For those who aren't aware, the theme of the animation competition is "Solving a Design Challenge with Biomimicry".

Here you go, everyone!
